It is important to make an informed decision when choosing a therapist. Reading about their orientation and experience is useful. However sitting in a room with them to know how you feel about them and working with them is invaluable. The up front investment of time is well worth the value of making a good choice. I am happy to offer a free initial consultation to facilitate this process.

As a Ph.D. level psychologist I am able to accept most but not all insurance. Please check with me to find out whether I can accept your insurance. It is also useful to check with your insurance company to understand your mental health benefits.
